Greg Piasecki Obituary: A Life of Accomplishment and Service

Born in 1970 in Haverford, PA, Gregory came from a family renowned for leadership in aerospace and civic duties. He attended Haverford School, serving as student government president and captain of the crew team.

Gregory graduated Yale with a degree in bioengineering while competing on the varsity crew team. He later earned his MBA from Wharton and worked at Morgan Stanley before starting his own investment firm focused on China.

Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Gregory stayed committed to various family businesses and nonprofits. After moving to Hanover in 2013, he became an active member of the community through volunteering and service.

Beloved By the Community

Gregory approached all aspects of life with thoughtfulness, patience, and good humor. As a parent, he embraced the role of a creative, enthusiastic mentor to his three children. As a community leader, he contributed a disciplined energy to local organizations.

The outpouring of grief over Gregory’s sudden passing is testament to the relationships he fostered and the impact he had. Mourning His Loss

Gregory passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest shortly after a morning rowing session on Hanover Lake. He is survived by his three children Cornelia, Jack, and Nicole, as well as six siblings and former wife.

Funeral services will take place on August 11 at St. Denis Church in Hanover, with another memorial scheduled for August 26 in Bryn Mawr, PA. Donations can be made to causes Gregory was passionate about, including World Bicycle Relief and Upper Valley Land Trust.

While he may be gone, Gregory Piasecki’s spirit endures through the many lives he touched as a father, friend, leader, and active community member. Hanover will feel his absence deeply.
