Dennis Demrow Obituary:The city of Janesville, Wisconsin is mourning the loss of lifelong resident Dennis Demrow, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 62. Dennis was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dennis Demrow Obituary: Early Life and Background
Dennis Demrow was born on December 9, 1960 in Janesville to parents Glen H. “Sonny” and Irene E. Demrow. He graduated from Orfordville Parkview High School in 1979 and went on to become a proud member of the local 464 Labor Union.
For years, Dennis owned and operated Custom Quality Concrete in the Janesville area. His hard work provided for his family, whom he cherished.
Family Man and Devoted Grandfather
Above all else, Dennis adored his children and grandchildren. He took immense pride in his family and loved spending time with his grandkids on the farm, never missing their activities. As his family says, being “Bumpa” was Dennis’ greatest joy.
Dennis leaves behind his mother Irene; children Rebecca, Nick, Samantha, Dylan, and Karlee; and 9 beloved grandchildren who lit up his life. He was preceded in death by his father Sonny and infant daughter Emily.
Passions and Hobbies
When he wasn’t with family, Dennis enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle across the open roads. He traveled to many places over the years and always made new friends along the way.
Dennis had a humble, lighthearted spirit that drew people in. He touched countless lives through his kindness, humor and generous soul.
Honoring His Life
Dennis Demrow passed away following a tragic motorcycle accident and injuries sustained at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI. His loss leaves a void in the hearts of family, friends and the Janesville community.
To honor Dennis’ life, visitation will take place on August 21st at Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life at Willowdale on August 22nd. He will be laid to rest privately at Bethel Cemetery.
Though Dennis may be gone, his spirit lives on through his children, grandchildren, and cherished memories he gave to others. May we all strive to celebrate life and family as Dennis did.
