Michael Duffy Obituary: Early Life and Family

Michael Duffy was born in Danvers, MA in 1985 to parents Michael and Mary Kaldes Duffy. After receiving his primary education in Beverly, he graduated from Quincy High School as a teenager.

Michael worked hard over the years to provide for his greatest joy – his son Carter. Though Michael’s life was cut far too short, he lived to be the best father he could be.

He is survived by his son Carter, Carter’s mother Loryn, his parents, siblings Jesse, Corey and Kalli, niece Mia, and nephews Marlo and Mack. Michael was loved by many.

Life in Beverly

Michael Duffy was a longtime resident of Beverly, MA, where he was raised and spent most of his life giving back to the local community.

In his youth, Michael played football and baseball, forging childhood friendships that lasted decades. As an adult, he consistently chose to work construction jobs based in his hometown. Michael took pride in Beverly.

Legacy and Remembrance

While the circumstances of Michael’s tragic premature passing remain unclear, the outpouring of community support on social media demonstrates how many lives he touched in just 38 short years.

Funeral services will take place on August 22 at Campbell Funeral Home in Beverly. Donations can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Michael’s memory.

Though gone too soon, the spirit of Michael Duffy lives on through his tight-knit family, his beloved son Carter, and the entire Beverly community.
