Born in Goshen in 1986 to Steven Troyer and Dilynn Puckett, Casey grew up in the area with his brother Trevor. After graduating high school, Casey attended Butler University, earning his bachelor’s degree. He went on to achieve his law degree from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law.
Successful Career
Casey worked as an RV salesman for Forest River, a job that perfectly suited his outgoing, engaging personality. He thrived helping customers find their perfect recreational vehicles.
Passionate About Music and Sports
In his free time, Casey loved playing guitar, golfing, basketball and volleyball. He played intramural sports in college and remained an avid athlete. Casey’s musical talents brought joy to others.
Dedicated Animal Lover
Casey shared special bonds with his canine companions Claude and Julie, who brought immense happiness and comfort into his life. He adored all animals.
Cherished Time With Family
Casey embraced every moment spent with his wife Ashley, son Gus, stepdaughters, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. Laughter and adventure filled their time together.
Leaving a Legacy of Joy
While Casey Troyer passed too soon, his vibrant spirit lives on through his children, family, and all those he touched with his warmth, humor, and passion for life. Casey made the world brighter. Though deeply mourned, his memory evokes joyful celebration of a life fully lived.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 29, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Funeral services will follow visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Services will be conducted by Pastor Joe Miller. Burial will be in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.
