Kevin Fischer Obituary: Early Life and Education

Born on April 19, 1976 in Cincinnati to Mary and Gary Fischer, Kevin was raised in the area where he later built his own family and career. After studying nursing in college, he earned his Nurse Practitioner degree and began working in the medical field.

Thriving Career at Cincinnati Children’s

Kevin dedicated himself through his work as a Nurse Practitioner at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. Driven to make a difference in the lives of others, he tirelessly served the hospital’s young patients and families.

Devoted Family Man

Kevin married his beloved wife Melinda in 1999, and together they were blessed with their daughter Aubrey and son Brayden who were the lights of Kevin’s life. He cherished being an involved father and husband.

Passions and Hobbies

In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed sports, especially cheering on the Cincinnati Reds. He also loved vacationing with his family in Hilton Head and bonding with his son over Star Wars. Kevin recently discovered a passion for golf.

Man of Faith

Kevin and his family were active members of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. His Catholic faith provided guidance and comfort throughout his life.

Leave a Legacy of Service and Love

While the community deeply grieves Kevin’s passing at just 47, his selflessness and dedication to helping others as a nurse and family man will live on as an inspiration. He spent each day making the world a little brighter through service.

A visitation for Kevin will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12 PM in Montgomery at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Kevin’s legacy are requested to be made to the Fischer Scholarship Fund to benefit the educational needs of Aubrey and Brayden.
