16-year-old Stella Grace Bright of Mooresville, NC Killed in Tragic Mooresville Car Crash and Two other teens were injured in the high-speed single-car accident.

Teen Killed in Tragic Mooresville Car Crash

A late-night joyride turned deadly over the weekend, claiming the life of 16-year-old Stella Grace Bright of Mooresville, NC. Two other teens were injured in the high-speed single-car accident.

The Fatal Crash

In the early hours of Saturday morning, around 3:20 am, tragedy struck on Brawley School Road. Stella was driving her 2014 Porsche 911 with two teen passengers.

Veering Off-Road

According to the NC State Highway Patrol (NCSHP), Stella drove off the right side of the road. The Porsche collided with a tree and rock wall.

No Survivors

Stella suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her two passengers were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

Excessive Speed

NCSHP cites excessive speed as the cause of the deadly crash. The posted speed limit on Brawley School Road is 45 mph.
