Cody was born on May 22, 1985 in Rossville to parents Todd and Alaina Lambotte. After graduating high school in 2003, he earned degrees from Labette Community College and the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Having grown up in Rossville, Cody cultivated lifelong connections and immersed himself in sports and activities as a youth.
Dedicated to Sports
Cody excelled in athletics, playing football and wrestling competitively through high school and college. Sports were integral in shaping his character.

In all his pursuits, from education to athletics, Cody demonstrated immense motivation and determination to succeed. He approached every endeavor with heart and tenacity.

Cody Lambotte lived his days fully through sports, service, and bravery. His courageous fight demonstrates the strength of human resolve. Though gone too soon, Cody’s spirit endures.
Visitation for Cody Lambotte will be at 5pm Friday evening at St. Stanislaus church in Rossville followed by the rosary at 7pm.
Funeral service will be at 10am Saturday morning followed by the burial at Mt. Calvary cemetery in Saint Mary’s.
