Lauren Alessandro Obituary: Lauren Elizabeth Alessandro sadly passed away in her sleep on October 15, 2023 at just 37 years old. Lauren lived life with kindness, purpose, and dedication to helping others through her nursing career. She leaves behind heartbroken loved ones and a legacy of compassion.

Lauren Alessandro Obituary: Early Life and Family

Born in Boston, Lauren was the beloved daughter of Dennis and Judith (Kinahan) Macdonald and cherished wife of Dennis Alessandro. She shared an unbreakable bond with her siblings Molly, Jillian and Brendan.

Lauren was also the doting aunt and godmother to several nieces and nephews who lovingly called her “Auntie Snack Snack.” Family meant everything to her.

Passion for Nursing

Lauren felt drawn to nursing due to her innate empathy and desire to care for others. She graduated from Regis College in 2008 and became a dedicated nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Helping patients and alleviating suffering gave Lauren’s life profound meaning. Her warmth and clinical skills left an indelible impact.

Vibrant Personality

Beyond her nursing career, Lauren had a zest for life’s simple pleasures like shopping, traveling to Maine, and enjoying coffee. Her bright spirit lit up every room.

Lauren delighted in quality time with loved ones. She fully embraced her roles as wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her absence leaves an immense void.

Lasting Legacy

While gone too soon, Lauren’s legacy shines on through the many lives she touched as a nurse and devoted family member. A scholarship fund has been established in her memory to support future nurses.

Lauren personified empathy and kindness. Though deeply missed, her beautiful spirit carries on through those who carry her memory in their hearts.

Conclusion

A funeral mass honoring Lauren Alessandro’s remarkable life will be held on October 24th in West Roxbury, MA. Her generous heart continues bringing comfort as her loved ones grieve this tragic loss. Lauren’s radiant light persists.
